Jungle Drums

For (proud) Mac users, here's a piece of something that might be useful if you dun already know it.

For those on the school network, you might see shared music in your iTunes. Depending on your subnet, you'll some guys sharing some music through the Shared Music option. You click then and *tada* you hear THEIR songs on your computer right? And you happen to really really like this song, and you really really wanna get it. There's no way of contacting the owner. And you probably can't find it anyway. Praying for the owner to come online all the time probably might not get you anywhere.

Enter the solution: Blue Coconut

It's a nifty (I already said nifty but i'll say it again) Mac program that grabs the music off the server and into your computer! Batch downloads are possible too, as long as the server stays online AND sharing his/her library. Bloody cool ain't it?

Google Blue Coconut and developer's page would probably come right up. Google is truly your best online buddy. Download Blue Coconut and get those tunes!!

A good piece of advice for laptop users: use it in different parts of school, you'd find more diverse users that way, cos your location determines the subnet you are connected to.

Windoze users, you are asking if there's something like that for your Windoze box? Well you do but I shall not tell you!!!! WAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA...

(ok since i'm so nice i will tell you but over msn or something. not here. i shall not promote anything windoze, although i'm posting on my XP box haha.)
